Who We Are
Funeral Program Maker runs at www.funeralprogramai.com. The service is a guided tool for creating funeral programs and companion print materials. This policy states what information the service processes, why it processes it, and the choices you have.
Information We Process
You can build a program without creating an account. The editor opens an anonymous session so your project can be saved and recovered. That session is an identity record, not a registration.
We process this information:
- Program content: names, dates, service details, obituary wording, family notes, page order, and template choices you enter.
- Photos: images you add to a program.
- Checkout information: the email address on the payment form, the plan you select, and the payment session status.
- Delivery information: the generated PDF files and their delivery status.
- Technical information: your session cookie and the IP address our hosting provider processes to serve each request.
We do not store payment card numbers.
Where Your Data Lives
The editor writes draft program details to your browser storage first. That copy is an offline buffer. The copy in our database is the authoritative record of your project.
Photos you add are uploaded to our private file storage. The program record holds a reference to each photo. Paid PDF generation reads those photo copies from that storage.
Draft And Photo Retention
Unpaid anonymous drafts and their backed-up photos are scheduled for deletion after 30 days of inactivity. Reopening the draft refreshes that period.
A photo you remove or replace in a draft is retained for up to 7 days so that undo can work. We delete it after that period if it stays unused.
Paid projects are not deleted by the unpaid-draft cleanup rule.
Your browser or device can clear browser storage sooner than we clear our copy.
Payments And Delivery Email
Stripe hosts the payment form and processes the payment. Stripe collects the information its own checkout requires, including your email address. Funeral Program Maker does not receive or store your card number.
We send the delivery email through Cloudflare Email Service to the address on the order. The email carries your PDF download link.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, Resend processes your email address for that purpose.
AI-Assisted Writing
The AI obituary writer sends the memorial facts and wording you submit to Anthropic. Anthropic generates or revises the text and returns it to the tool.
Do not submit information you do not want processed for that purpose. AI output is a draft aid. Review it before you print or share it.

Your Choices
Contact support@funeralprogramai.com to request access to your information, correct it, delete it, or receive a copy.
Most drafts belong to an anonymous session. We may not find your draft without the editor link that carries your project ID. Keep that link when you ask us to act on a draft.
Security
We transmit data over encrypted connections. Photos and PDFs sit in private storage that requires authorization to read.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
